Twelve years have gone by
you wrote me a letter
Should I reply?
My mixed emotions tie me up
leaving my mind confused
Whatever I say will it be enough?
Hours pass
I'm still reading this letter from you
It brings me memories from the past
But a hope to start anew
My heart still bears the scars
sometimes they hurt when I dream
to stop the pain I stay awake and look at the stars.
